CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - The Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) decision to launch a YouTube site to post videos of the operation in Gaza has done very well so far.
Last week, the newly launched site was YouTube's fourth most viewed, with some video clips attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers, the IDF announced Sunday.
Besides YouTube, the IDF has provided cable viewers with free videos on demand, which drew some 30,000 viewers over the weekend.
The IDF plans to expand the coverage, which now includes footage of targeted air strikes in Gaza, IDF units preparing for combat duty, distribution of humanitarian aid, and instructions by the Home Front Command to Israelis in Gaza-vicinity communities.
In addition to the IDF's YouTube site, the Israeli Defense Ministry launched a Web site providing live feed of the Kerem Shalom crossing with the truckloads of humanitarian aid being transported to Gaza residents.
