Palestinian Fires at IDF Patrol

Ad Feedback - KIRYAT ARBA, Israel - Palestinians from the village of Jabel Johar near Hebron opened fire at an IDF (Israel Defense Forces) patrol.

Three soldiers were lightly injured in the attack, mostly from the jeep's shattered windows, and were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. A fourth soldier, treated at the Kiryat Arba clinic, did not need further medical attention.

Since the start of the IDF operation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli troops deployed in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) have been put on high alert, along with soldiers and Border Police in the north.

Last week, police shot and killed a Palestinian activist who attempted to torch a gas station near Ma'ale Adumim, a city on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
