CBNNews.com - GAZA STRIP - Israel Air Force (IAF) aircraft targeted three Hamas government buildings before dawn Thursday.
According to Palestinian health officials, 25 people wounded in the attacks were evacuated to nearby hospitals.
In the first five days of the war, the IAF jet fighters have carried out some 500 air strikes against Hamas targets, including a mosque used to fire rockets at Israel.
About two-thirds of the underground rocket launch sites in the northern Gaza Strip have been destroyed, according to the IDF.
The IDF has been calling terror leaders before launching a strike, warning them to vacate a residential building doubling as weapons warehouses, along with their neighbors.
Israeli crews noted that on a number of occasions, Hamas operatives placed civilians on the roofs of these buildings after receiving a warning call.
IAF pilots responded to the ploy by firing antitank missiles nearby to give civilians time to get to safety.
