Two IDF Soldiers Killed in Gaza

Ad Feedback - GAZA STRIP - Two more Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers were killed Thursday evening, following the earlier announcement of the death of 27-year-old Major Ro'i Rosner.

Staff Sgt. Amit Robinson, 20, a member of the same battalion as captured IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit, was killed by a Palestinian sniper. He is survived by his parents and two sisters.

Lt. Omer Rabinovitch, 23, a commander in the Golani Brigade, was killed in a firefight with Palestinian gunmen. The IDF promoted him to the rank of captain posthumously.

Funeral arrangements for the soldiers have yet to be released.
