JERUSALEM, Israel - Residents of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) demonstrated across from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Jerusalem residence on Thursday evening.

Some demonstrators carried posters reading, "One country for one people," while other signs read, "Netanyahu, you don't have a mandate for concessions."

"Whoever cedes Yitzhar (a Jewish settlement in Samaria Near Nablus, biblical Shechem) and the rest of the mountain settlements will bring Katyusha rockets on Azrieli ," National Union MK Michael Ben Ari said.

MK Uri Ariel, also from the National Union party, urged the prime minister to stand up to pressure from U.S. President Barack Obama.

"Go to Washington and don't be afraid," Ariel said. "Stand up and say, Israel belongs to the Jewish people."

Former mayor of Kedumim, Daniel Weiss, said she hoped Netanyahu wouldn't yield to the "freeze" on construction in Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria.

"(Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad wants to destroy us, and (U.S. President Barack) Obama is kow-towing to him like Chamberlain did to Hitler," Weiss said.

"If, God forbid, he (Netanyahu) capitulates to Obama, he will be lifting a hand against God and against our nation," Rabbi shalom Dov Wolpe said at the demonstration.
