A former member of Iran's Revolutionary Guard has warned that Iran would use nuclear weapons, not only against Israel, but against other Persian Gulf countries and also Europe.

He told Israel's National Radio that Iran's goal is to bring about total chaos in the world, so that the Islamic messianic figure "the Mahdi" will appear.

Also, he said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tries to portray himself as a folk leader, but he's the most brutal dictator the world has ever seen.

The former Iranian soldier was educated in the U.S. in the 1970s and went back to help his people after the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

Yet, he grew disillusioned with the Islamic regime and became a spy for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.
