Israel's vice prime minister said the Palestinian Authority's media and educational system contributed to the killing of five members of an Israeli family in the Samaria community of Itimar earlier this month.
Moshe Ya'alon told CBN News that the recent murders of Udi and Ruth Fogel and three of their young children by Palestinian terrorists are the result of daily anti-Semitic indoctrination by President Mahmoud Abbas's Palestinian Authority.
"If this young generation is educated to deny any linkage between the Jewish people and the land of Israel, and you don't have the right to have a Jewish state, this is the outcome," Ya'alon said.
"The outcome of hatred, incitement -- it should be changed. And so they are responsible for this attack as well," he said. "They can't deny responsibility."
Itimar's Mayor Moshe Goldsmith and his wife Lia Goldsmith talked more about the murders and how the townspeople are coping with tragedy on the CBN News Channel's Midday News, March 28. Click play to watch.
