Internet giant Google has partnered with the Israel Antiquities Authority to put 5,000 fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls online.
The digital library includes the Ten Commandments, the book of Deuteronomy, and a portion of the book of Genesis.
The ancient manuscripts were once available to only a handful of scholars.
"Now, everyone can touch the scroll on screen around the globe," Israel Antiquities Authority Director Shuka Dorman said.
