Israel's intelligence agency the Mossad is hiring Iranian refugees in the autonomous Kurdish region of Iraq to spy on Iran's nuclear program, the French daily Le Figaro reported this week.
Quoting an unnamed security source in Baghdad, the paper said, the Mossad had infiltrated the region and was recruiting and training Iranian Kurds to gather information about Iran's nuclear program and target nuclear experts.
Earlier foreign reports have accused the Mossad of recruiting Iranians opposed to the current regime to carry out bomb attacks.
On Wednesday, Iran accused Israel of killing one of its nuclear scientists in a car bomb attack but Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said it would continue its nuclear path "without any doubt."
The U.S., Israel and other countries believe Iran is using it's civilian nuclear program as a cover-up to build a nuclear bomb.
