JERUSALEM, Israel -- Palestinian Authority Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Muhammad Ahmad Hussein called on Muslims to kill Jews, saying it's their destiny to do so.

At a celebration last week marking the 47th anniversary of the founding of Fatah -- the Palestinian faction of P.A. leader Mahmoud Abbas -- Hussein warned the "Hour of Resurrection" will not come until they fight the Jews, the Palestinian Media Watch reported.

In the video aired last week on P.A. television, Hussein said the Koran -- Islam's holy book -- justifies killing Jews. Watch the video below.

"Forty-seven years ago, the revolution started…the modern revolution of the Palestinian people's history," the mufti explains in the video.

"The hour [of resurrection] will not come until you fight the Jews. The Jew will hide behind stones or trees. Then the stones or trees will call, 'O Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him.'"

In the past, the P.A.'s principal religious leader endorsed suicide bombings as a legitimate "weapon" in the struggle to liberate the land.
