WASHINGTON - Supporters of Israel continue to press U.S. leaders on standing with the Jewish state against Iran, rising anti-semitism, and other threats.
Thousands of people are attending the 7th annual Christians United for Israel Summit, which ends July 18 with meetings on Capitol Hill with lawmakers.
CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck was one of the featured speakers at Sunday's event geared toward young people.
Stakelbeck told the crowd that one of the greatest threats in the war on terror could be on their college campus.
"A lot of times on campus, you're going to lock horns with a Muslim Brotherhood linked organization. The Muslim Students Association, the MSA," Stakelbeck said.
"They are leading the charge along with their compadres on the radical left," he said. "The MSA is leading the charge against Israel on American college campuses."
This year's featured CUFI speakers include Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren, and Pastor John Hagee.
Monday's workshop topics included how to be an effective pro-Israel advocate and the history of the Middle East conflict and how it impacts Israel.
