Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said this week that Iran will retaliate against any attack by Israeli or American forces.
His comments come as speculation continues that Israel may strike the Islamic regime's nuclear weapons facilities this year.
Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., recently visited Israel, where she met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
She told CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck that time is running out to stop Iran's nuclear program.
"They have the technical capability of producing a nuclear weapon. They've certainly enriched uranium now to the point of 20 percent," Bachmann explained.
"Once you're at a 20 percent level of enrichment, then it's not a very long shot to get it up over 90 percent, which it has to be to be weapons grade," she said.
"All the elements are in place. Israel sees that," she continued. "And Iran is making the moves to move this production into a deep underground facility. Once that happens, Israel loses all capacity to take this capability out."
