JERUSALEM, Israel -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a condolence message to Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi on the death of his sister, who passed away on Monday.

Morsi attended her funeral at the Hassan El-Sharbati Mosque in Cairo Tuesday, according to a press release from his office.

Morsi's office instructed "all individuals and authorities not to publish any obituaries in newspapers," the Egypt Independent reported.

According to the report, his spokesman, Yasser Ali, said it would be better to donate money for obituaries to charity.
