JERUSALEM, Israel -- From the threat of a nuclear Iran to Gaza terror attacks, most people only see images of turmoil in the land of Israel. Nevertheless, millions of tourists still visit the Holy Land every year despite the upheaval.
In fact, for the past few years the Jewish state has set tourism records.
Overseeing this crucial industry is Tourism Minister Uzi Landau, a veteran member of Israel's government who has served in a number of strategic positions.
As tourism minister, Landau hopes Israel will continue to be a prime destination for Christian pilgrims around the world.
Landau talked more about the threats facing Israel and its impact on the tourism industry, on The 700 Club, Nov. 14.
