World leaders are gathering in New York for the 68th session of the United Nations to discuss chemical weapons and Middle East peace.
Much attention will also be focused on the United States and Iran. Iran's new President Hassan Rouhani has expressed interest in reviving relations with the United States for the first time since the Iranian Revolution in 1979.
It is a move Israel warns against.
"[It is] the attempt of Iran, to cheat the world, to smile to the world by Rouhani, and meanwhile to develop a fissile material with centrifuges and to develop nuclear weapons," Yuval Stenitz, Israel's minister for Intelligence and Strategic Affairs, said.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is set to meet with six nations, including the United States. They will be looking for way to control the Iranian nuclear program.
