JERUSALEM, Israel -- The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Palestinian incitement to "hatred and violence" is pushing a peace deal further and further way.

According to the report, incitement is behind the rise in terror attacks in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). It also says the Palestinian Authority's glorification of terrorists causes many young people to aspire to acts of terror against Israelis.

Palestinian incitement is not a new phenomenon. Former PLO chairman Yasser Arafat was known for saying one thing in Arabic and another in English for Western consumption.

Current P.A. leader Mahmoud Abbas, who served as Arafat's aide for 30 years, has been known to do the same.
