JERUSALEM, Israel -- More than half the members of the Israeli Knesset are planning to travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau next week.

The 64-member delegation, which includes several cabinet ministers and some former MKs as well as the chief rabbis and several other government officials, will be the largest Knesset group ever to go overseas.

The Israeli parliamentarians are visiting the Nazi death camp to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The Jerusalem Post reports 30 Holocaust survivors from Israel will travel with the delegation.

U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., will also join them, along with Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Rep. Patrick McHenry, D-N.C.
