Israeli Woman Killed in Apparent Terror Attack
JERUSALEM, Israel -- A 20-year-old Israeli woman was found murdered in northern Israel on Thursday in what authorities strongly suspect was a nationalistically motivated attack (terror attack), media reports said. Shelly Dadon was found stabbed to death in a parking lot. She had reportedly been on her way to a job interview.
One family member was quoted by the Jerusalem Post crying out, "Why God, why? She was only a child! I can't live without her!"
In a separate incident, a Hamas terror cell was arrested in a joint operation by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Israel Defense Forces before it could carry out any attacks.
One member of the seven-member cell, 21-year-old Haled Daoud, is an Israeli citizen. Six of the seven live in the P.A.-controlled city of Kalkilya, while Daoud moves between there and the Israeli Arab village of Kafr Bara.
The cell was found with weapons and bombs and bomb-making material.
Shin Bet said they would be indicted within days.
