The following is the schedule of events for Sen. Edward M. Kennedy's funeral.

Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009
12 p.m. ET -  Private family mass held at Kennedy's home in Hyannis Port.

1 p.m. ET - Kennedy's body and family leave Hyannis Port fo Boston. The motorcade ends at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Dorchester, Mass.

4 p.m. ET -  Kennedy motorcade arrives at John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.

6 p.m.-11 p.m. ET - Kennedy will lie in repose at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.


Friday, Aug. 28, 2009
8 a.m.-3 p.m. ET - Kennedy's body will lie in repose at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. The library will be open to the public during this time.

7 p.m.-9 p.m. ET - Celebration of Life Memorial Service at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. Event is closed to the public.


Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009
10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET - Kennedy's funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica in Boston. Event is closed to the public.

5:30 p.m. ET - Service for Kennedy at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.  Event is closed to the public.
