No. 1: Christian Rights/Freedoms

Ad Feedback

Topping the list of most important subjects to you, our viewers, were stories concerning the freedom to publicly exercise and talk about your faith, a freedom many conservative Christians fear is under attack.

Many religious leaders fear that a current onslaught of court rulings and laws contrary to personal conscience is sending America down the same slippery slope as Europe, where Christians who take their faith into the workplace risk being demoted or fired. Other laws threaten to criminalize Christian speech or practice.

In response to this perceived threat, more than 150 Christian leaders from across denominational lines crafted a "call of conscience" to America -- urging Christians to radically commit to fight for the sanctity of life, marriage and religious liberty.

Here are a few highlights CBN News brought you on the threat to Christian freedoms.
