Hate Crimes Bill 'Bad Policy' for America?

Craig Parshall of the National Religious Broadcasters spoke with CBN News about what he calls "bad policy" surrounding the new hate crimes legislation.

The bill extends current protection from hate crimes to the homosexual community, which Parshall believes is unnecessary.

Still, he says he's relieved by an amendment added to the legislation Thursday night by Sen. Sam Brownback to ensure Christians are protected from punishment under the bill for speaking out against homosexuality.
