The Canaan Orphanage and Christian School is home to more than 100 children facing poverty in Haiti.

Chris Hlavacek spoke with CBN News about how a supplement as simple as peanut butter is changing the lives of these little ones.  Volunteers mix the snack with powdered milk, water, vitamins and oil.

Hlavacek says in a country where clean food and water is scarce, the peanut butter mix "really gives the kids quite a good variety of nutrition."
