Iran's Guardian Council, the Islamic Republic's top electoral body, said it has found no major fraud in the June 12 voting results, and will not re-do the election.

All eyes now are on the leadership of the opposition. On Monday, government forces clashed with hundreds of protestors at a square in central Tehran.  Riot police fired tear gas and live bullets to break up the crowd.  Such tactics have led to the deaths of 17 demonstrators so far.

On Tuesday, President Obama will discuss the crisis in Iran in a Rose Garden new conference.

Josh Goodman of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies appeared on Tuesday's CBN News Morning program to discuss the recent demonstrations in Iran and how the U.S. and other countries should react to the Iranian government's violent response.
