Psych Professor Offers Insight About Study

New research suggests nearly 15 percent of all teenagers think they are going to die at a young age.

The fear of death often leads many to drug use, suicide attempts and other unsafe behavior.

The study challenges conventional wisdom that says teens engage in risky behavior because they think they are invulnerable.

The lead researcher said many teens just "feel hopeless and figure not much is at stake."

For more insight on this story, CBN News interviewed Dr. Arlene Brown, assistant professor of psychology at Regent University for her analysis of the study.
