A hate crimes bill attached to the defense budget has sparked a heated debate surrounding gay rights.

The legislation seeks to protect homosexual and transgendered individuals from violent crimes, but many Christians feel it will eventually lead to prosecution against pastors and others who speak out against homosexuality.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox Newschannel senior judicial analyst, spoke with CBN News about the hate crimes legislation.
