Barack Obama's economic team is considering a stimulus plan that could cost as much as a trillion dollars.
The team was thinking about a plan that cost only half that much just two weeks ago.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Obama is expected to be briefed on the outlines of the plan this week.
And his aides are still hoping for congress to pass a stimulus bill by the time he takes office in January.
Obama said his package will include an initial tax cut, infrastructure, and energy efficiency.
