In the battle for endorsements, Democratic contender Barack Obama got a big boost today.

Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire endorsed the Illinois senator Friday at a rally in Seattle.

Obama and Sen. Hilary Clinton have been trying to win last minute support in the state, where Democratic caucuses will be held Saturday.

A total of 238 delegates are at stake this weekend, with votes also scheduled for Louisiana, Nebraska, and the Virgin Islands.

Maine will hold their Democratic caucuses on Sunday.

Wisconsin Congressman Dave Obey also recently switched his support from John Edwards, to Obama.

Obey said he believes both Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton would make "outstanding" presidents, but believes Obama has the best chance of giving the country a new beginning.

Wisconsin primaries are Feb. 19.
