House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said her legislative priorities would reflect those of president-elect Barack Obama and promised to govern with bi-partisanship.

"The country must be governed from the middle," she said. "You have to bring people together to reach consensus on solutions that are sustainable and acceptable to the American people."

Pelosi also said there is a possibility the House will consider a second economic stimulus package before the inauguration.
