CBNNews.com - Take Your Child to Work Day is the annual day where kids go to work with their parents and 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. was no exception.

First lady Michelle Obama welcomed about 180 children of White House staffers.

The kids became journalists asking the first lady about life in the White House.

 "Even though you have cooks and all that, do you like cooking personally?" one child asked.

Mrs. Obama replied by saying she didn't miss cooking.

"I'm just fine with other people cooking," she said. "Their food's really good."

Mrs. Obama also fielded questions about the family dog, Bo, and about how much time she spends with President Obama.

She told the kids if they someday want to work in the White House, now is the time to start working hard in school.
