Former Republican and House Majority Leader Tom Delay said he's going to be on this season's "Dancing With the Stars."
The congressman says he was contacted by the show's producers three months ago. He'll be joining 15 other celebrities.
Delay is 11 years older than the other performers but says it doesn't bother him, claiming that he was quite a dancer while growing up in Venezuela.
He told ABC's "Good Morning America" that "conservatives can have fun, too. Conservatives can open their collar and put on their dancing shoes. ... I'm in it to win it."
"Dancing With the Stars" is in its ninth season and premieres September 21.
