Christian leaders and conservative politicians hosted a webcast Wednesday evening to fight the health care bill.

They said aspects of the Senate version violate Biblical standards on life issues, marriage, and more.

Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., participated in the webcast. She said the health care bill actually punishes people for getting married.

"There's a marriage penalty that's imposed because if two people are unmarried living together their income can actually be higher than if you're married living together," she said. "So there's tremendous marriage penalty that's imposed."

Lou Engle, co-founder of TheCall, is calling on America to observe three days of prayer and fasting.

Numerous public figures were also scheduled to participate, including Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., Sen. Jim Demint, R-S.C., Bishop Harry Jackson of the High Impact Leadership Coalition in College Park, Md., and Tony Perkins, of the Family Research Council Action in Washington, D.C.
