Senate Democrats are close to reaching a deal in which hospitals would help pay for the President's new health care plan.
Officials say the nation's hospitals are considering reducing payments they receive from Medicare and Medicaid by about $155 billion over the next 10 years.
That money would be used to provide health coverage to millions of uninsured Americans.
The White House may announce the deal as soon as Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are negotiating with Republican leaders in hopes of getting a bill the GOP can support.
