A war-funding bill is back on track in Congress after a flare-up, Thursday over the Gitmo detainees and some controversial detainee abuse photos.
White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel rushed to the Capitol Thursday night to resolve an impasse over the bill.
House and Senate negotiators have now sealed an agreement but only after President Barack Obama personally guaranteed the photos would never be released, and also after a compromise that allows the president the next four months to order Gitmo detainees into the United States to face trial.
