A conservative watchdog group is criticizing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her use of military planes.
Using the Freedom of Information Act, "Judicial Watch" uncovered e-mails between Pelosi's staff and the Department of Defense regarding air travel.
The documents include emails requesting specific types of planes and notices that the speaker would be "very upset" upon learning the plane she wanted wasn't available.
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, has investigated the situation and talked to CBN News about the Pelosi accusations. Click the player to hear his remarks.
Pelosi's office says the House sergeant-at-arms requests planes capable of making non-stop flights from Washington to her district in California for "security purposes."
Flying the speaker on military planes to and from her district became standard after 9-11.
