Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has agreed to publish her memoir.

Palin is working with publisher Harper Collins to write the autobiography.

It will cover her life since childhood, both personal and political, including her bid for the White House as John McCain's running mate.

Palin, 45, says the book will be "a refreshing chance" to tell her story.

It will be available in spring 2010 -- the year she's up for re-election in Alaska.
