Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid now says he expects the Senate will complete the health care bill before the end of the year.
    
But other Democratic leaders say that is probably unlikely.

Reid is waiting for final word from the Congressional Budget Office on coverage costs for the bill he submitted more than two weeks ago.
    
Senate Democrats are still divided on issues such as the public option and insurance coverage for abortions.

Pro-life advocates continue to campaign for the Senate to approve tough abortion restrictions.
     
Reid said he will get the bill on the Senate floor next week.
