President Obama visited union halls, Tuesday, as he spends this week focusing on the economy.
After talking to Wall Street executives Monday, Obama talked with General Motors workers in Ohio about improving fuel efficiency standards that he says will help carmakers hire more workers.
He also spoke to the AFL/CIO in Pennsylvania about labor and health care.
Despite unemployment being at nearly 10 percent, President Obama says he believes the economy is making a turnaround.
Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Spector said he will back the Employee Free Choice Act-- legislation aimed at making it easier to form labor unions.
Opponents, however, say the bill will eliminate jobs rather than help create them.
CBN News spoke with Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity about the Employee Free Choice Act and what it could mean for workers.
