Donations are rolling in for both the Republican and Democratic National Committees.
The DNC led the money race in March with $13 million. However, the RNC brought in almost $11.5 million -- marking the best fundraising month for the GOP since Michael Steele became chairman.
Steele has faced criticism over recent reports that donor funds were being misspent on outings, including a visit to a racy sex-themed club.
Conservatives like Family Research Council President Tony Perkins have called on supporters to stop donating directly to the RNC, and instead give their money to groups that support the party.
Penny Nance, president of Concerned Women for American, said her organization has received some of those donations.
