Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, won the presidential straw poll. Sarah Palin finished with just 7 percent of the vote.

Meanwhile, conservatives took aim at the Obama administration and its policies.
"I believe we are in a struggle over whether or not we are going to save America," former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told the assembly. "Let's go ahead and defeat the radicals and put the country back on the right track."
"On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama was not qualified to be President of the United States. Today, exactly 13 months later, Barack Obama is still not qualified to President of the United States," said John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
"So let put the words in language that us bitter folks who cling to our guns and religion can understand, 'Mr. President, America is the hope and you can keep the change,'" former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said.
