A new poll shows Americans are angry with their elected leaders in Washington.
The CNN survey reveals only 44 percent of voters say President Obama deserves to be re-elected. And only a third of those polled nationally think members of Congress should be re-elected.
That number is even lower than it was in 1994 when Republicans took control of both the House and the Senate from Democrats.
Democrats hold a 255-178 majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. Republicans would need to win 40 seats to take back control of the chamber.
