President Obama will visit Capitol Hill Thursday to urge Democrats to fall in line and support health care reform.
On Wednesday, the president met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and other Democrats for more than 10 hours.
They're seeking to reconcile major differences between the House and Senate versions of the health care bill, including whether to drop the public option and to tax high-priced health plans.
The president and congressional leaders said they made significant progress, but don't have a deal yet.
Meanwhile, polls show the American public's support for Obama's health care plan continues to drop.
