LAKE TAHOE, Nev. -- GOP Senate nominee Sharron Angle, the woman who could defeat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., in the fall says that running against Reid is her calling.

Angle is a conservative Christian woman who suddenly finds herself in a position to defeat Reid. She's leading in many polls, but she doesn't have as much campaign money or name recognition as the majority leader. It's truly a "David vs Goliath" scenario, but she says that God is in control.

"I think the reason is a calling," Angle said. "It's interesting how when you have God in your life that he directs your path."

Angle is outspoken when it comes to speaking about her faith. She shared her testimony recently at a church in nearby Carson City, Nev. and let the congregation know that hiding your light never works out very well.

"I have to encourage you here Jesus said to us, 'If you deny me before men I will deny you before my Father in Heaven,' so we cannot hide our light under a bushel," she told the congregation. "We're told to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth."

As for public policy, Angle said the first thing she will do if she gets to Washington, D.C., as Nevada's next U.S. Senator is try to repeal President Barack Obama's health care plan.
