Ralph Reed, the grassroots organizer best known for his past leadership in the Christian Coalition, may run for Congress.

Sources close to Reed told CBN News he is "seriously" considering campaigning for the seat left empty by retiring Republican Rep. John Linder of Georgia.

Reed has never held an elected office, but is no stranger to politics. He now runs the Faith and Freedom Coalition, a grassroots organization mobilizing social conservatives to get out and vote in the 2010 midterm elections.
