Conservative Women Make Waves in Midterm Elections

Conservative women have made their mark in this year's midterm election season -- appropriately nicknamed the year of the "mama grizzly."

In Nevada, for example, Sharron Angle is taking on powerful Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid -- and giving him tough competition.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed many conservative women like Angle.

Others who have made their voices heard include Carly Fiorina, Meg Whitman, Christine O'Donnell, and Nikki Haley.

CBN News spoke with Carrie Lukas, vice president for policy and economics at the Independent Women's Forum, about the prominence of conservative women in this year's midterm elections.
