For most Americans who lived through it, September 11, 2001 still evokes strong and often painful emotions.
But for those who were children at the time and have grown up in a post-9/11 world, there's no real understanding of that attack on America and the war on terror that followed.
Because of this, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has released an animated film called "9/11 and the War on Terror."
The movie is part of his "Learn Our History" film series designed to help young people understand why Islamic terrorists attacked the United states, and to help make sense of the tragedy America faced.
Through "Learn Our History," Huckabee said he wants kids to discover America's rich past and most influential people.
He said he hopes the animated series will also build a strong sense of pride and appreciation for this country.
Each video stars teenaged characters who travel back in time and relive history in the making. Other "Learn Our History" productions include "Origins of World War II," "The Reagan Revolution," "The American Revolution," and more.
