Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin appears to be making strides to launch a presidential run.
Palin will launch her "One Nation Tour" this weekend in Washington, D.C. The nationwide bus tour will include stops at historical sites like the Liberty Bell and Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam.
She's also authorized a documentary based on her political career that will debut in Iowa -- a lead-off caucus state.
In addition, Palin has hired new staff, and supporters are putting together a tentative campaign in Iowa.
There have also been reports that the former governor has bought a home in Arizona to use as a campaign headquarters.
