Washington may be broken politically, but it also may be on the cusp of a spiritual awakening.

The Congressional Prayer Caucus on Capitol Hill has crossed a major milestone, reporting that it now has 100 members in its ranks.

The bipartisan committee promotes both the historic and present role of prayer and fights to protect the right to pray for all Americans.

The caucus started in 2005 with a small group of lawmakers who met weekly on Capitol Hill to pray for the country, a tradition that continues today.
