President Obama is launching a new initiative that works with the private sector to help teenagers gain job skills and work experience.
The move is part of the president's 'We Can't Wait' initiative, which circumvents Congress after the House rejected his spending plan last year.
Obama claims the partnership will create 180,000 employment opportunities this summer for young people. The jobs will be mostly unpaid internships.
Republicans say the president is taking credit for positions that would have been created anyway.
