Romney Attacks Obama over Economy Remarks

Ad Feedback

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spent the weekend attacking President Obama for erroneously saying the private sector is creating enough jobs.

"Overall, the private sector has been doing a good job creating jobs...the private sector is doing fine," Obama said.

Romney blasted the president for that remark, saying, "To stand up and say the private sector is doing fine...it's an extraordinary miscalculation and misunderstanding by a president who is out of touch."

The president later backtracked and eventually admitted, "It is absolutely clear that the economy is not doing fine."
