Some current and former Navy SEALS are criticizing President Obama for taking credit for killing Osama bin Laden.
The SEALs' comments came after a campaign commercial praised the president for his action and questioned presumed GOP nominee Mitt Romney would have done.
"I think every president would have done the same," Ryan Zinke, a former SEAL commander, who is now a Montana Republican state senator, told the London Daily Mail.
"The decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it, but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call," Zinke said.
A former SEAL sniper agreed, telling the Mail that "using it as a political attack is a cheap shot."
Another added "(President George) Bush should get partial credit for putting the system in place."
However, many of the SEALs said they do believe the president should get credit for his decision.
